Geocache Description:

A simple multi-cache in the Church Micro series. This one is near Bramley Holy Trinity Church and is a replacement for Bashful's earlier version, Church Micro 2839...Holy Trinity, Bramley, which has been archived.

Bramley Church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, was probably first built in the 12th century. The tower and chancel date from the early 13th century with the south transept (now part of the south aisle) added later in the century. It was not until 1676 that boundary walls were built and the burial ground was licensed. Holy Trinity was a daughter church of Shalford; Bramley only became a separate parish in 1847.

The cache is a small camoed clip&lock box.

Outside the church is a walled garden (that doesn't mean you don't want to enter the church grounds to view them, even though you don't need to). There are two plaques. Use the Northern plaque to determine the N 51 AB.CDE coords and the Southern plaque to determine the Western W 0 FG.HIJ coords. Interpretation of the body text is word length of Line_number.Word_number:

  • A = 8.2 - 8.1
  • B = 1.1 - 2.2
  • C = 3.1
  • D = 6.2
  • E = 4.3
  • F = 1.2 - 1.1
  • G = 5.4
  • H = 3.2 - 3.1
  • I = 5.1
  • J = 2.2
