Gmina Inowrocław położona jest w centrum województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego w obrębie zachodniej części Kujaw. Zajmuje obszar 171,5 km². Ponieważ jej powierzchnię w większości zajmują urodzajne czarnoziemy region ten nazywany jest polskim spichlerzem. Gleby I,II i III klasy zapewniają wysokotowarową produkcję zbóż, kukurydzy i buraków cukrowych. Na Równinie Inowrocławskiej występują pokłady surowców mineralnych, a pośród nich złoża soli kamiennej, należące do najbogatszych w kraju. Gmina liczy 50 wsi i 26 sołectw. Zamieszkiwana jest przez 11.600 osób.
Przez obszar gminy wiedze sześć szlaków turystycznych, które są niebywałą atrakcją dla pasjonatów historii czy literatury: Szlak Piastowski, Szlak Jana Kasprowicza, Szlak Stanisława Przybyszewskiego, Szlak gen. Władysława Sikorskiego, Szlak Powstania Wielkopolskiego i Szlak Bursztynowy. Na terenie gminy znajduje się kilkadziesiąt budowli o charakterze zabytkowym, a wśród nich kilka perełek architektury m.in. Kościół Św. Trójcy w Górze oraz Kościół Św. Elżbiety w Orłowie, a także liczne dworki i pałace m.in. odrestaurowana ”Villa Orłowo”, która stała się swoistym centrum kulturalno-artystyczno-edukacyjnym. To w naszej gminie zlokalizowana jest najstarsza polska wieś - Krusza Zamkowa, leżąca na słynnym Szlaku Bursztynowym. Znajduje się tutaj obiekt archeologiczny (otwarty w 2014 roku) – zrekonstruowana świątynia z przełomu II w.p.n.e. – I w.n.e. oraz stała wystawa obrazująca historię Kujaw Zachodnich, Askaukalis i prowadzone badania archeologiczne.
W Łojewie funkcjonuje, od 2014 roku, Centrum Dziedzictwa Kujaw Zachodnich. Istotą działalności „muzeum” jest krzewienie tradycji regionalnych, umacnianie poczucia tożsamości lokalnej oraz promowanie sylwetki Stanisława Przybyszewskiego - „Meteora Młodej Polski”, jednego z najwybitniejszych synów Ziemi Kujawskiej. W Centrum znajdują się trzy sale: Izba Pamięci Stanisława Przybyszewskiego, Izba Tradycji i Historii Kujaw z licznymi zabytkami kultury ludowej, podarowanymi przez społeczność gminną i otwartą w 2016 roku Salą „Askaukalis” z wystawą m.in. kopii zabytków archeologicznych wydobytych w Kruszy Zamkowej.
Działające, od roku 2013, Centrum Integracji Społecznej w Łojewie jest podmiotem zatrudnienia socjalnego. Powołane zostało z myślą przygotowania osób bezrobotnych lub zagrożonych wykluczeniem społecznym z terenu gminy Inowrocław do podjęcia pracy oraz powrotu do aktywnego życia społecznego. W gminie prężnie działają zespoły ludowe „Kłopocianki” i „Kruszowianki”, liczne organizacje, stowarzyszenia, koła gospodyń wiejskich kultywujące wielopokoleniowe tradycje i obrzędy.
Gmina Inowrocław dynamicznie się rozwija. Rocznie przeznaczanych jest ok. 12% dochodów budżetowych na realizację zadań inwestycyjnych; na wykonanie dużych projektów pozyskiwane są środki zewnętrze z zasobów unijnych i krajowych.

The municipality of Inowrocław is located in the center of the Kujawsko-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the western part of Kujawy. The surface area of the municipality is 171.5 km2. Die Gemeinde Inowrocław ist im Zentrum der Kujawien-Pommern-Woiwodschaft, nämlich im westlichen Teil Kujawiens gelegen. Die Oberfläche der Gemeinde beträgt 171,5 km2. Da ihre Fläche mehrheitlich von fruchtbarer Schwarzerde belegt wird, wird diese Region „polnischer Speicher“ genannt. Die Böden der Klasse 1, 2 und 3 sichern die intensive, industrielle Landwirtschaftsproduktion von Getreiden, Mais und Zuckerrüben.In der Inowrocławer Ebene treten ebenso Mineralstoffablagerungen und unter anderem Steinsalzlagerstätten, die zu den reichsten in Polen gehören. Die Gemeinde umfasst 50 Dörfer und 26 Ämter des Ortvorstehers. Sie wird von 11.600 Menschen bewohnt.
Durch das Gemeindegebiet führen sechs Touristenrouten, die eine außergewöhnliche Sehenswürdigkeit für diejenigen darstellen, die eine Vorliebe für Geschichte oder Literatur haben: Piasten(Dynastie)-Route, Jan-Kasprowicz-Route, Stanislaus-Przybyszewski-Route, General-Władysław -Sikorski-Route, Großpolenaufstand-Route sowie Bernsteinroute.
Auf dem Territorium der Gemeinde befinden sich auch einige Dutzend historische Denkmäler, und zwischen ihnen einige Architekturperlen u.a. Dreifaltigkeit-Kirche in Góra sowie Elisabeth -Kirche in Orłowo und zahlreiche Gutshäuser und Paläste, u.a. die renovierte „Villa Orłowo“, die zu einem eigenartigen Kultur-Kunst-Bildungszentrum wurde.
Gerade in unserer Gemeinde ist das älteste polnische Dorf zu finden – Krusza Zamkowa, die auf der berühmten Bernsteinroute gelegen ist. Hier befindet sich auch ein archäologisches Objekt (im Jahre 2014 eröffnet) – nämlich der rekonstruierte Tempel aus der Wende des 2. Jhs. v.u.Z. und des 1. Jhs. u.Z. sowie die dauerhafte Ausstellung, die die Geschichte von Westkujawien, Askaukalis und geführte archäologische Untersuchungen schildern.
Seit 2014 arbeitet in Łojewo das Kulturerbe-Zentrum von Westkujawien. Der Tätigkeitskern dieses ‚Museums“ ist Verbreitung der lokalen Traditionen, Stärkung der lokalen Identität und Förderung der Gestalt von Stanislaus Przybyszewski – sog. „Meteor des jungen Polens“ also des Modernismus in der polnischen Literatur, Musik und Kunst, einer der hervorragendsten Söhne der kujawischen Region.
Das Kulturzentrum beherbergt drei Säle: Gedächtniskammer von Stanislaus Przybyszewski, Kammer der Tradition und Geschichte Kujawiens mit zahlreichen Volkskulturgegenständen, die von der Gemeindegesellschaft als Gabe geschenkt wurden sowie den im Jahre 2016 eröffneten Saal „Askaukalis“ mit der Ausstellung u.a. der Kopie der archäologischen Funde, die in Krusza Zamkowa entdeckt wurden.
Das seit 2013 tätige Sozialintegrationszentrum in Łojewo ist Träger der sozialen Beschäftigung. Es wurde gegründet, mit dem Gedanken an die Einstellung der Arbeitslosen oder der vom Ausschluss bedrohten Gruppen aus dem Gebiet der Gemeinde Inowrocław, um ihnen die Arbeitsaufnahme und Rückkehr zum aktiven sozialen Leben zu ermöglichen.
Die aktiv handelnden Volksmusikgruppen „Kłopocianka“ und „Kruszowianka“ tragen zum Kulturleben der Gemeinde bei, ebenso wie zahlreiche Organisationen, Vereine, Verbände der Landwirtinnen, die von mehrgenerationsausgehenden Volkstraditionen und Bräuche pflegen.
Die Gemeinde Inowrocław entwickelt sich dynamisch.
Jedes Jahr werden etwa 12 % des Budgeteinkommens für die Realisierung der Investitionsaufgaben bestimmt; für die Ausführung von großen Projekten werden die äußeren Geldquellen aus EU- und Landgeldmitteln erworben.
