After a fun-filled day of geocoin goodness, cache your way over to Host Hotel and join your new friends for an evening meet-n-greet along with a little geopoker! There is no requirement to play in the tournament. You are welcome to just come mingle, and relax. If you do plan to play, please check in at the main table by 6:10 pm. The Tournament will start at 6:30 pm.
We play No-Limit Texas Hold'em. There is a maximum of 40 players in the tournament. If more than 40 people want to play, we will draw players from the pool of those who check in. Your buy-in for the tournament is 3 trackable (unactivated) geocoins. Standard-size coins only, no mico or mini coins please. Tournament director reserves the right to review and reject coins that do not meet the requirements. The top three winners will split the pot of coins collected.
There is a bar for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the hotel. However, no purchase is necessary to join in the fun! You do not have to play in the tournament to enjoy the company of everyone. Be sure to log your "Will Attend" (and please mention the number in your party) to stay on top of announcements and updates!
