The cache is not at the posted location, but if you go there at the beginning of June, you can watch the Water Valley Rodeo!!

One of my favorite roads is the Harold Creek Road.  It is one of the gateways to the amazing Alberta Foothills!!

Teaching geology must be a bit of a hit and miss.  There is so much 3D visualization for the students, it must be a struggle until the"Ah-ha" moment!!!  Written into every rock, is a story about deposition, tectonics, mineralogy, energy, etc....Each formation locks its secrets from the untrained eye, yet with close inspection, the story can be unravelled.  At this location, tectonics is the obvious tale.  Originally, these rocks were deposited horizontally...Today they are vertical....Can you speculate why???

There are two tricks to solving the puzzle for this cache, but once solved the cache will be highlighted and then all you have to do is follow the beds...

Please pull your vehicle over to the side as far as possible, as there can be a lot of large trucks on the road!

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
