Perfect for children as the walk starts and ends at Ottershaw rec car park (look out for the ice cream van in the summer) and for geo-pups (mostly off-lead walking but 2 road crossings to watch out for).
The walk is roughly 2 miles and should take between 1-2 hours depending on the dawdling time allowed! Not really suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs due to tree roots and uneven ground but an easy walk completed many times with a toddler on my back! A pencil is required for some of the smaller caches.
You will need to cross the main road halfway between 1 and 2 so you may want to get doggies on a lead and children close by.
