Welcome to the Battle of Richmond VIsitor's Center. This building was originally a home constructed around around 1811 by Adam Rogers, and is known as the Rogers House. In 1862, the Civil War hit home only hundreds of yards away, and it is believed that Federal Brig.Gen. Mahlon Manson used the Rogers House as his headquarters. This is a great stop to learn about history, examine actual artifacts, rest indoors, and use the restroom during the museum's business hours. The geocache you are searching for lies on the grounds of this property. It is a lock-n-lock container that hopefully will house many tradeables and travel bugs over it's lifetime. Please maintain the geocache in it's original hiding spot. The container contains a log book and a GeoTour keyword. Sign the log book and record the keyword for your Berea Chamber of Commerce GeoTour Expedition Guide.
