This geocache is blessed to be surrounded by a peaceful country setting. The sounds of a peaceful babbling creek and simple sounds of nature's critters will surround you. You may have crossed the county line from Madison County into Garrard County (pronounced Gare-ed), but the address here is still Berea, KY. This scenic oasis carries much history for this area. Although the nearby building isn't the original, it's predecessor was built in the 1880's to house it's members until wear, age, and membership growth required a new and larger structure to be built in the 1970's. An Ark themed Challenge Course for adults and kids was planned for this area when the geocache was placed, but through a labor of love from the buildings members, it has since become an exciting reality and now welcomes members, the community (and geocachers) to come play, picnic, and relax.
