Geocache Description:

Angie's in town from Houston. She said she wanted to go for a hike. Mrs. Winos assures us this would be an easy hike. Little did we know she'd be wrong!! This cache was part of our many climbing breaks.

My longtime friend Angie decided to visit us in Seattle from Houston. She called me a few days ahead and asked if we could take her on a hike. My wife decided to start looking for good hikes. She comes up with this one. Says the views are spectacular and it's only 1400 feet in the 1.5 mile hike. hmmmmm.....I pleaded with her to do Little Si or Tiger Mountain West #3 or Rattlesnake Hills Ledge. I kept telling her this hike she was planning was going to be really hard. "No, no, no" she muttered, "It'll be good for you". "Hmmm, great!" I thought to myself.

Fast-forward to the hike: We found the trailhead cache easily and you should find it too. The hike kicked my rearend on the way up and this little container is about 1/3 of the way up the hill. It's destined to last about 3 or 4 years. It's a good point to take a break, which is why it's there. Good luck finding it.

The view at the top was spectacular and I'm really glad Mrs. Winos found this hike. Bring plenty of water, some granola, food, and don't forget your camera.
