The day will consist of many parts.
From 11:00 our stall holders will be trying to sell you their wonderful Christmas gift ideas for the special cachers in your life
At 14:00 we would like to get all the kids together for our special visitor and we'll put together some party games for them.
At around 15:30 we are hoping to have a series of caches published, so that we can kick you out of the hall and prepare for the next stage - of course you can hang around at this time but you will probably be given a job.
From 17:00 we will be moving in to evening entertainment. We would be grateful if attendees could bring with them something for a buffet (and raffle, naturally ) and there will be a bit of a disco. Or music at any rate. But not so loud you can't hear yourself talk...
At this stage those timings are subject (and likely) to change but you get the idea...
With it being a committee event, you can be sure that we will be trying to flog some of our wares. And there will be tombolas and football cards etc
There is a bar and we will have something to make teas and coffees.
We will be contacting caching suppliers over the next couple of weeks but please don't wait to be invited, if you want to get involved, please drop us a line, we are really keen to start working with the guys that will end up with stalls in 2018.
This listing will be fluid as we get nearer to the time, so please put your will attend in or watch the page to get the latest information.
For now, it would be really useful in your will attends to give us some detail:
How many kids, what age, boys or girls etc that you will be bringing, so that we can let Santa know
What you might be able to bring to a buffet. It would be a shame if we ended up with 57 bags of wotsits. I hate wotsits.
It's a long day. We don't expect people to be there the full time. But we'll probably get someone to design a fancy flashing gif for anyone that manages the full stretch But seriously, some will want to just come for the party, some for the fayre, it's all good!
