There are two routes to GZ, the shorter route through Clyston Mill, but this is not always open so this route will be restricted. A second route is available by exiting a side gate from the church yard, walking a short distance along a quiet road before joining a public footpath.
Nestled in the centre of Broadclyst village is the ancient Parish Church of St John the Baptist.
The church dates from the 15th century. It is built of stone in the perpendicular style.
The church also has an interesting War Memorial where, unusually, those remembered are still separated by rank.
The cache - A plastic micro, containing only a log, situated alongside a cycle track, which is approximately a 500 metre walk from the cross. From GZ there will be a good view of the church.
