Dreischor gemaal is bij de meeste duikers in Nederland als duikstek een begrip. Veel aspirant-duikers hebben hier wellicht hun eerste ervaring opgedaan met het duiken in Zeeland. Als je boven op de dijk staat, kan je het gedeelte van het gemaal dat boven het water uitsteekt al mooi afgetekend zien liggen, maar het gedeelte dat onderwater ligt is pas echt interessant. Wanneer het zicht goed is en zonnestralen door het water heen dringen, is er tussen de buizen van het gemaal een prachtig schouwspel: elk stukje van de constructie is namelijk uitbundig begroeid. De grote verticale pijlers zijn begroeid met allerlei sponzen, wieren en anemoontjes en vooral aan de onderzijde van de horizontale buizen zitten veel Doorschijnende zakpijpen. Daar tussendoor vind je Botervisjes en af en toe een zeedonderpad.
Bij deze mini-multi is enige kennis van je GPS vereist, ook een cache tas met tools is handig om de cache uit zijn schuilplaats te halen.
Onderwater is het handig om een leitje en potlood mee te nemen, een onderwatercamera of een goed geheugen.

English: Dreischor Gemaal is among most divers in the Netherlands a very known dive site. Many beginning divers may have gained their first experience with diving in Zeeland. If you are standing on top of the dike, you can see the part of the pumping station that is above the water already nicely silhouetted, but the part that is underwater is really interesting. When the visibility is good and the sun rays penetrate the water, there is a beautiful spectacle between the pipes of the pumping station: every piece of the construction is abundantly overgrown. The large vertical pillars are covered with all sorts of sponges, algae and anemones and especially at the bottom of the horizontal tubes there are many translucent pocket pipes. In between there you will find Butterfish and occasionally a Sea scorpion.
This mini-multi requires some knowledge of your GPS, also a cache bag with tools is useful to get the cache out of its hiding place. Underwater it is useful to take a slate and pencil, an underwater camera with you or a good memory. Some tips: First think of your own safety and that of your buddy.
