Dear Geocachers,
This is to inform you that the Olympic Peninsula GeoTour is coming to an end.
The last day the caches will be available is January 1, 2022. As of 1/2/22 our GeoTour will be a thing of the past. Thank you to everyone who has made this so much fun over the years.
If you have started a Passport, but have not completed it, please send it to us by January 20, 2022 in its current state to:
OPVB PO Box 670 Port Angeles, WA 98362
As long as we have coins, we will honor incomplete passports. Again, thank you. Olympic Peninsula Tourism Commission
As you cross the Hood Canal bridge headed west, and enter Jefferson County, you’ll no doubt be curious about what all there is to see and do around Port Ludlow, Chimacum, Port Hadlock, and Marrowstone Island. How far is it to Port Townsend? Where’s Quilcene and Brinnon, and how does one get to Staircase? Are there some waterfalls nearby to explore? Where’s the Cider Trail? How far to Hurricane Ridge? Need a good restaurant recommendation? A place to stay? A good map? Questions, questions.... Or maybe there’s just the need for a bio-break stop. This is the place with the local expertise to answer all those questions, and take care of those needs. Definitely a good stop to make to lay out the plans for finding the other caches nearby!
