This geocache is located near a pine we call ”the northernmost pine of Finland.” It is far from the truth – but the pine is worth a visit anyway. It is not that big but has been there at least 50 years and looked all the same. We've been doing lots of snowmobile trips to that location. In case you’re wondering the ”livestock” attribute, it is because you are inside the reindeer fence. But don’t worry, they will be more afraid of you than you of them.
Geokätkö sijaitsee sellaisen puun lähellä jota sanomme ”Suomen pohjoisimmaksi männyksi.” Se ei ole totta, mutta mänty on joka tapauksessa visiitin arvoinen. Monesti olemme talvella ajelleet moottorikelkkaretkelle männyn läheisyyteen ja juoneet siellä kaakaot. Livestock-attribuutti tarkoittaa poroja, sillä kätkö sijaitsee poroaidan sisäpuolella. Mutta ei kannata pelätä sillä ne eivät uskalla lähelle ihmistä.
