TPL: Taipei Public Library
Between 1930 and 1947, four community libraries were set up in the Taipei area, with funding donated by the local gentry. In 1952, the four libraries were integrated and officially named the Taipei Public Library. Today, other than the main library, there are more than 44branches, 11 public reading rooms, 7 intelligent libraries, and over 60 service locations in and around all 12 administrative districts of Taipei city.
台北市立圖書館最初是地方士紳於民國19年至36年間，陸續捐資設立的四所社區圖書館。民國41年將4館合併後，正式成立台北市立圖書館。成立至今，除總館外，已擁有44所分館、11所民眾閱覽室及7所智慧圖書館。全市超過60個服務據點遍布於台北市各個行政區。
To satisfy the versatile needs of different readers and groups, the Taipei Public Library set up a collection system, where “each branch highlights one special area of interest”. Based on its location, each branch established different special collections to display a featured topic.
為了滿足公共圖書館不同讀者與族群的多元閱讀需求，台北市立圖書館以「一館一特色」的分工典藏機制，各分館根據區域特性建立不同的特色館藏，強化主題服務的概念。
Due to the people's quality of life is enhance and people pay more attention to leisure activities, tourism business become more prosperous. However, it would be more fun if you could get more information before your trip. Wang Guanying library is located in Zhongzheng district that has lots of famous landmark, so the collections highlight is about "Sightseeing & traveling". Wang Guanying library provides many kinds of books, journals and maps that related to traveling, such as the world tourist information, tourist guides, backpacking, internal recreation areas and national parks profiles. Interested readers are welcome to use and borrow it.
由於人們生活素質的提昇與對休閒活動的重視，致觀光旅遊事業日盛，而旅遊行前如能對相關資訊有充分的掌握，必能增添旅遊之情趣。王貫英紀念圖書館位處中正區，名勝古蹟不勝枚舉，故選定「旅遊」作為館藏特色。 王貫英紀念圖書館提供各類與旅遊相關的圖書、期刊、地圖等資料，內容涵括世界各國旅遊資訊、觀光指南、自助旅行、國內各遊樂區及國家公園簡介，歡迎有興趣的讀者多加利用。
Opening Hour: Tuesday to Saturday: 08:30 - 21:00; Sunday and Monday: 09:00 - 17:00
The Library is closed to the public on all National Holidays. Also, the Library is closed on the first Thursday of each month, which is the Library's cleaning day.
開放時間: 週二至週六：8:30-21:00；週日、週一：9:00-17:00。
經政府公告之放假日為休館日；每月第一個星期四為圖書整理清潔日，不對外開放。
