, le site du lac d'Allos, plus grand lac naturel d'altitude d'Europe (2228m), situé dans le parc national du Mercantour il est le joyau de la commune. Enfant des glaciers de l'ère quaternaire, issu de la fonte des neiges et de sources,
le lac d Allos d'une superficie de 54ha, atteint la profondeur de 48m. : 
accés voiture jusqu'au parking du Laus terminus
40 mn de marche à pied jusqu'au lac
parking du Laus payant : 8 euros voiture ,2 euros motos
du 2 juillet au 28 aout tout les jours de 8h 30 à 16h
avant ces crénaux horaires et de cette période l'accés est gratuit
sinon parking gratuit en permanence 4,5km en aval mais 2h 15 de montée à pied
repas,hébergement au refuge du lac
