A cache hidden in Banbury's Community Garden and adjacent to the Oxford Canal. In addition to hosting local events, the garden contains a wide variety of locally grown vegetables.
More historically, the cache site would've been situated directly between the Saxon/early Norman villages of Banesberie and Grimsberie, today's Banbury and Grimsbury (just on the opposite side of the bridge and railway tracks). On this same spot in later centuries, you would have also been standing just in the shadows of Banbury Castle (which was destroyed in 1646-47, shortly after the First English Civil War).
