TB- Hotel Mtatsminda Traditional Geocache

Welcome to Mtatsminda! To get up here, you have various options. I would really recommend the tourist route that starts at Narikhala Fortress. On your way you will pass the statue Mother of a Georgian and can enjoy spectacular views. There are a couple of caches on the way as well. The other option is taking the funicular to reach the top of the hill. It costs 3 Lari (as pretty much everything, I suppose ^^) and operates pretty much all day long - until 4 a.m. in the morning. When you are on top of the Holy Mountain (which is the literal translation of Mtatsminda) you can stroll through the park or you try out one of the joy rides there. You can load some credit on a card at the funicular station and pay for each of the rides individually. I highly recommend the Ferris Wheel and the Octopus! Apart from that, you can come and look for this cache. Most caches in Tbilisi are nano or micro, so I thought a small one would be a good idea. As the location is one of the most touristiy spots, it could very well serve as a TB-Hotel. Enjoy your time in Tbilisi!
