Geocache Description:

Part of a series taking you to some of our favourite places to spend time in Toronto.

Pleasant View Library is nestled on a small street of a residential neighbourhood and is located at 575 Van Horne Ave.

There are well tended flowerbeds all around the building.  Whimsical animal portraits are featured on the walls of the children's area in the library.  These were painted by artist Gerry Eversole in 1996. (Eversole also painted the tree mural on the wall at the Brookbanks library.)

Pleasant View Community Centre is just steps away from the library.  It has a multi-purpose sports field, outdoor artificial ice rink, splash pad and a children's playground for all to enjoy year round.

The library (and community centre) can be accessed by the 10 Van Horne bus from Don Mills subway station, or teh 169A Huntingwood bus.  There is free parking on the property.
