At 13,025', North Truchas Peak is the smallest of the three Truchas Peaks. Standing here offers views to south of its biggest brother, South Truchas Peak as well as Trailriders Wall, and Baldy peaks. To the west, West Truchas Peak and Trampas Peak. To the east, Chimayosos Peak and Truchas Lakes. And far to the north, the Taos mountains. No matter which way you choose to approach this cache, you will be in for spectacular views of this region of the Pecos Wilderness.
