This cache has been archived.

jeffrey949baker: Checked on this today after a fellow geocacher mentioned that they could not find it. It had in fact disappeared, for the second time, so I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:

Church dedicated to St. Peter. The church is thought to have been built on the probable site of a bronze age burial ground. The remains of this barrow are represented by the high ground at the southwest corner of the present graveyard. A Norman church was built here about 1100 AD and a tower added about 1250 AD.

On a more recent note the grave of James Honeyman-Scott lies in the graveyard. James was a guitarist and founder member of the Hereford group ‘The Pretenders’. He died tragically at an early age.

Cache is a tub, a bit bigger than a micro, in a camo bag. It is on a footpath that goes behind the church. Start for this footpath is on the left towards the end of the village.
