Geocache Description:

GAGB

The Geocaching Association of Great Britain (GAGB)

invite you to meet the committee and join us for a chat.

Sunday 17th July
12-4pm

Please come and join us at

Coaley Peak

Gloucestershire, GL11 5AU

This is the second of a series of regular, roving GAGB events. The first few will be organised by GAGB committee members, who plan to invite the wider caching community to organise their own in future - watch this space for announcements. The aim of these events is for cachers old and new to meet the committee, ask any questions and enjoy the surrounding area of the event.

Coaley Peak Picnic Site at Nympsfield in Gloucestershire is an excellent spot to have a picnic. It is twelve acres of open grassland with a neolithic "Cotswold-Severn" chambered tomb at its centre.
There is parking onsite and you will find several picnic tables and benches at which to enjoy a picnic in this stunning location and an ice-cream seller at busy times.

There are plenty of caches nearby. The Cotswold Way National Trail runs the length of the site. The site is fairly level so is suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Dogs are very welcome but all dogs will need to be on a lead.

Please bring your swapables and collectables, join in the geochat and enjoy the outstanding views across the Severn Valley and the Forest of Dean and onto the Welsh Mountains.
If you would like to learn more about Geocaching, come and visit our Geocaching help desk and learn the basics of Geocaching.
Come and have a chat with the GAGB committee and find out what we do. We are hoping the weather is kind to us.

When you post a "Will Attend" log, please let us know how many people you expect.
Information about the GAGB can be found on this web site.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!
