Z Nation
Z Nation is a campy post-apocalyptic comedy drama television series that is currently in production and airing on SyFy. The storyline centers around a group of rag-tag individuals who come together for the purpose of delivering Murphy, or "The Murph", from New York to the world's last known functioning Centers for Disease Control research lab in California. Murphy is special in that before the downfall of society, he was one of three prison inmates who were unwilling participants in a test of an anti-zombie vaccine. He was the only one to survive and, what's more, the vaccine seemed to work as he survived a zombie bite shortly after inoculation. His blood now contains antibodies that are believed to be mankind's best hope for survival.
While the show takes place everywhere from New York to California, it is filmed entirely within the Spokane area.
Notes for the hunt: This cache is on DNR land adjacent to the Mica Peak Conservation Area. When you reach the fork in the road immediately east of the trailhead, take the right branch in order to get to this hide. The signs that you see telling you to keep left are assuming that you are trying to get to Mica Peak.
