The Cache
The geocache is hidden in a Magnetic Keyholder. In order to determine the cache's final location, proceed to the posted coordinates and count the number of brick's on edge that form the bottom window sill on the right side of the entrance to the winery shop.
If the number of bricks is greater than 30, proceed to N 35° 16.692 W 086° 22.615
If the number of bricks is less than 30, proceed to N 35° 16.652 W 086° 22.931
The Location
This cache is placed on the property of the Town of Lynchburg with their kind permission.
The Area
Lynchburg, TN isn't a place you "pass through" on your way to somewhere else. It is so off the beaten path, it's either your destination or you are lost. Granted, most people come to Lynchburg the first time to take the tour of the oldest registered distillery in the United States. If you take the time to stay a little longer, you will discover an old fashioned town, the likes of which you may have thought no longer existed. A charming town square surrounds the 100 year old courthouse. No need to hurry. Just stop and chat awhile. Life moves at a slower pace in Lynchburg.

The Discover South Central Tennessee GeoTour
The Discover South Central Tennessee GeoTour is a series of geocaches along the backroads and small towns of South Central Tennessee. There is no fixed itinerary, like on a traditional trail, but rather a series of points of interest in a self-guided, goal-oriented plan. We have created a special passport, which you can download here, which lets you track your progress as you hunt specially placed geocaches along the tour. This passport will help you collect “code words” to qualify for special geocoins for completion of the GeoTour.
