TM-6 Tough Mudder #6: Cool Down Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Socky P: It appears that some WPs may be missing. Since this cache is very lonely as there are very few true Tough Mudders around, I'm going to let this one go. The Tough Mudders that participated in the series all proved their toughness. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

This is the 6th cache in the Tough Mudder Challenge Series. CLICK HERE to find out more about this challenge. The caches in this series are intended to get you outdoors, having fun, encountering physical challenges, and enjoying different areas. Have fun and enjoy the series.

All good things must come to an end. Hopefully, for you, the Tough Mudder series has been fun, brought you to some great spots, challenged you to challenge yourself, and created some good memories and sense of satisfaction.

After vigorous exercise, an athlete should go through a Cool Down phase, in which they gradually relax, slow the heart rate, and unwind. You've been through some high intensity activity in this Tough Mudder Challenge, so perhaps this walk will bring you to a peaceful state.

A handful of WPs will lead you to the final location, which I hope you enjoy. You will start on a trail, but be led off of it after a while. Remember there are times when the easiest way is not always the most direct way. I'm not a fan of bush-whacking, and never had to here, and if you make careful choices you won't either. Don't forget to look around and capture the moment as you travel this cache. I hope you enjoy the quiet and seclusion that you can find on this journey, and hope it serves as your Cool Down to the Tough Mudder ride you've been on.

NOTES: Wear bug spray! I had great peaceful walks here but I was heavily coated in bug spray. This is Mendon Ponds Park, which is bug central. Skeeters will ruin your experience here if you let them, but if you spray up good during the summer months, you should be absolutely fine. Please make sure the final is covered completely. Walking 20-30 feet past the final will give you an awesome view, so don't miss it! Enjoy.

Please be sure to mention in your log the number you sign in on so I can credit you points during the challenge series. And take note of the Bonus Cache information inside the log book. (See Bonus Cache details on the Socky P Challenge web page.)

Congratulations to Striving4Camelot for FTF!
