Our friend Fugads came into our community just two short years ago. But his impact was noticeable immediately; not just in hides and finds, but in friendship and camaraderie.
His hides shall remain legendary, his puzzles extraordinary and his diligence to finds unparalleled. We shall truly miss him.
BUT, we have one last opportunity to hang out with him and his wonderful fam. On June 11, we shall gather at the Cove at Concord Park to share well-wishes and give him an appropriate sendoff. We will gather at 4:00... Bring a lawn chair and enjoy all of the food/drink/snack vendors that will be there, BECAUSE...
For those that want to hang around, at 6:00 there is a FREE concert to celebrate Fugads stay in the area. (https://www.knoxcounty.org/parks/events.php). Besides the concert, there are plenty of activities including swimming, volleyball, playgrounds, walking, fishing, kayaking, and.... uhm, err, oh yeah, CACHING! And on this day, Knox County relaxes their restrictions in the park. So, If you don't wanna grub from the vendors, feel free to bring your own food and beverages whether it's a bottle of wine and a nice cheese tray, or just beer and a sub.
We will have a spot reserved infront of and to the right of the stage. Look for the TVG banner strung between to lawn canopies.
Looking forward to seeing everyone, swapping tales and showing our love for Fugads!
