Housed in the restored A.Z. Palmer & Sons/Hatch Brothers Store in the center of Taylor, the museum depicts the history of Taylor from its settlement to the present. Originally a community-gathering place, the A.Z. Palmer & Son Store provided nearly everything local ranchers needed including ice cream and food supplies to gas and insurance. Today some of those artifacts of Arizona history are gathered here with recorded narrations that add detail to your guided tour. You'll view the over 180-year-old Jennings Drum that was brought to the West on that back of Brigham Young's horse drawn carriage in 1847 and the anvil used for Taylor's unique Independence Day celebrations.
