Geocache Description:

Now known as Ralph Demarco Park, this is the start of what was once nicknamed "Purple Park," due to the color painted on all of the railings.  Look closely and you'll still see some of the purple showing through the newer black paint.

Follow the walking trail along the shore of the East River and enjoy a beautiful Manhattan view.  Stop by at dusk for one of the best sunset viewing locations around.  On the right night, the colors will be unbelievable.

The geocache is a lock and lock container, just the right size for some travel bugs!
