The Cache Across America Series: This is a series of caches that will take you on a caching tour of the entire United States. One cache is hidden in each of the 50 states. These caches each contain a numeric clue that will lead you to one final cache located in our nation's capitol upon completion of the series.

About this cache:This cache is located at the Kosciusko County Visitors Center and, according to geocachers who have already visited, is in one of the coolest geocache containers ever! While you are caching, take a few minutes to stop in the Visitor Center and check out information on the area and on the entire state of Indiana. The Visitor Center is a great resource for visitors to Indiana. Whether it is your first visit or you have been to Indiana countless times, there are always new things to learn about in our great state.

Kosciusko County is such a beautiful area. It is a mostly rural county with only one community large enough to be classified a city. Fields of corn and soybeans greet the visitor from just about every angle. But don't be fooled ... there's way more than corn in Indiana (and in Kosciusko County!).

Kosciusko County is home to over 100 lakes including Indiana's largest nature lake, Lake Wawasee, and Indiana's deepest lake, Tippecanoe Lake.

Kosciusko County is also home to the world headquarters of five large orthopedic manufacturers, earning it the title Orthopedic Capital of the World. Orthopedic implements made right here in Kosciusko County are sent around the world; Olympic Gymnast Mary Lou Retton and the late Pope John Paul II both received implements manufactured right here in Kosciusko County. Little Crow Foods, makers of CoCo Wheats cereal and Fryin Magic, started operations in 1903 in Kosciusko County and have been making their products here even since. Louis Dreyfus, in Claypool, is the world's largest bio-diesel fuel plant.

So take some time to slow down in Kosciusko County. Our small town values and rural charm will bring you back again and again.

This cache was formerly called the Travel Bug Visitors Center. It's still a great place to drop Travel Bugs!

Logging Requirements: Enjoy this cache as you would any other. If you are searching this cache as a participant in the Cache Across America series, please post a photo of yourself or a member of your group with the cache in your online log. If you for some reason are unable to meet the photo requirement, please make alternate arrangements to verify your find with the individual cache owner. There is no photo requirement for non-challenge participants.

Individual verification of all 50 state finds will be required before logging the series final.

If participating in the series, please take note of the three digit code located inside this cache. Save this code in a secure place. When you have visited all 50 caches, and have collected all 50 codes, you are welcome to seek and find the final cache! Good luck!
