Geocache Description:

This cache is situated on a hill over looking the Parish Church. On a clear day views will stretch for miles. The cache is a small lock and lock container at the base of an upright. Parking is available near to the Church, but please avoid if a service is being conducted. You will need to follow the public footpath through the church yard and continue up the hill.

The present church building is old- mostly 600-700 years but on a site used by Christians since 1200 AD at least. The churchyard is even older and has been the site of Christian usage for nearly 1000 years although the regular practice of marking graves with headstones and crosses only started in the 1700s. In the church yard there are Tulip and Monkey Puzzle trees, as well as the giant Yew. This tree is said to be at least 1500 years old, and is one of the oldest Yew trees in the country.

Kenn is a village and civil parish situated in Devon, England, several miles to the south of Exeter, in one of the country's main tourist areas. It lies in the district of Teignbridge, and at the 2001 census had a population of 968.
