Geocache Description:

PRESENTS

This years "BIG" CITO Event!!

CITOCache In Trash Out® is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!

Geocachers around the world host and participate in Cache In Trash Out Events in their local area. Events might be focused on litter clean-up, removal of invasive species, revegetation efforts or building trails. Together, we make an enormous positive impact. Did we mention that we also have a bit of fun while we're at it?

Location: Lions Park, Pinjarra
Corner South West Highway & Willams Road

Date: Sunday 5th June, 2016
Time: 4.00 - 5.00pm

On registration for the ‘WA goes BIG in 2016 Event’, you will receive your orange ‘Keep Australia Beautiful’ rubbish collection bags. During your caching forays over the weekend please collect as much litter as you can from around the roadsides and areas you visit. If you require more bags, they will be available from the WA Goes Big 2016 venue at Fairbridge Village.

You must return your filled bags to the carpark adjacent to Lions Park, Pinjarra, where you can register your attendance. There will be a draw for the right to log ‘First to Attend’ for this event. There may even be a prize for the most unusual piece/s of rubbish found too.

We look forward to seeing everybody there, with your rubbish.
Lets all do our bit to make this year's pile of orange bags at least twice the size of last year's pile!!
