Geocache Description:

Number 564 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

This is a multi-cache in the small village of Wherwell. Parking is available on street very close to the posted co-ordinates. Once you have obtained the relevant information and worked out the final co-ordinates you can either walk to the location of the cache or drive. Parking is available close by to the final location as well. If you do decide to walk, please be careful as some of the walk is along the side of a road.

At the posted co-ordinates you will need to obtain the following information.

Let the usual collection time for Monday to Friday be A:00 pm

Let the collection time for Saturday be B:CD am

Let the last two digits of the postbox number after the "SP11" be EF

Let the two numbers after the letters "AD" on the defribrillator be GH

The cache can be found at

N 51° DB. (F+H) (F-A) (C+G)

W 001° (F-A) F. (E+H) (F+C) D

The cache is a small clip-lock box containing a logbook and a pencil. There is also room for small trackables.

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication.

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via at geocachingafinepair@gmail.com to have yours added.
