Geocache Description:

Easy to get to and can drive to within 20 feet. Use caution if you pull over to the side of the road and use hazards.

I made this a virtual cache as it's in such a high traffic area that it is unreasonable to think an ammo box would stay hidden long. This location commemorates a 36+ year tradition in the Tri-Cities and is best visited the last weekend of July each year. (If you do visit then, you will need a ticket to the event)

To claim credit for this cache e-mail me the name of the person that is inscribed ABOVE the driver's cockpit area. It's K____ M_____ and one of the original founders of unlimited hydroplane races on the Columbia. The name is pretty small so those with vision less-than-perfect might want some binoculars or zoom in with a smart phone picture.

And I want to thank all the Tri-City Cache Machine 2004 participants that visited the cache. Man, I was getting e-mails left and right for days after. A good problem to have.
