Geocache Description:

Since there werent any stashes local to me, I figured it was about time to place one. Spent the day looking around at local sites. Found good places for about 4 or 5 stashes, but for the first time I chose a place that doesn't take much effort to get to.

Stash: 2 gallon white paint bucket with lid from the Home Depot across the street. The stash contains a log book pens, and an assortment of 'prizes' for those who find the stash.

Everything inside is contained within individual zip sealed baggies. There is a copy of the stashnote.doc document printed on bright green paper inside a plastic sleeve with instructions for those who find the stash. The logbook has my initial entry, as well as a request to drop an email (if the person has time) to the email address given within. Gives me a chance to find out who is visitting the stash.

Because of its proximity to a college campus, the stash is as 'out of sight' as i could make it, without making it incredibly difficult to reach. Your GPS should bring you within about 20 feet of the stash. Keep your eyes open for a slightly flattened, rusted out, and beat-up old drum can. The stash is located therein.

The terrain is not that difficult at all. This is definately a DF1 stash. There are rather well worn paths in the vicinity, mostly tread by bored and/or adventurous college students. The stash is well enough off the beaten path that I dont think it will catch someones eye.

I do request (beg.) that those who find the stash please try and cover it up as good, if not better, than how you found it.
