L'ARRIVÉE DU TRAIN À NOTRE DAME DE MONTS
Le calendrier de réalisation à Notre Dame de Monts fut le suivant :
1904 : étude du tracé de la voie et emplacement de la gare par le Conseil Municipal.
1907 : le Conseil Municipal demande que la voie ne passe pas à proximité de l’église ; en cause, l’état douteux de solidité du clocher serait fragilisé.
1918 : le Conseil Municipal, les habitants et les réseaux ferrés trouvent enfin un compromis.
1920 : le terrain communal est vendu à la Société des Tramways de la Vendée.
14 juillet 1925 : inauguration de la gare et de la ligne de tramway à Notre Dame de Monts.

The arrival of trains to Notre Dame de Mants
The timetable for Notre Dame de Monts was the following:
1904 study of the track layout and location of the station by the City Council.
1907: City Council request that the path does not pass close to the church; involved, the dubious state of the bell tower of strength would be undermined.
1918: City Council, residents and rail line finally found a compromise.
1920 common is sold to the Company of Tramways of Vendée.
July 14, 1925: inauguration of the railway and tramline in Notre Dame de Monts.
