De cache

Deze multi gaat door het koninklijk landgoed de Horsten en is ongeveer 5,5 km lang. De Horsten zijn niet goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer, maar het bos heeft een grote parkeerplaats.

Hieronder staan 21 foto’s en daaronder 21 waypoints. U begint bij waypoint 1 en gaat zo door tot en met waypoint 21. Bij elk waypoint zoekt u de goede foto. Stel dat bij waypoint 1 foto F hoort, dan is F=1 en als bij waypoint 2 foto N hoort, dan is N=2, enzovoort. Hiermee kunt u aan het einde het coördinaat van de cache berekenen. De foto’s zijn begin maart gemaakt.

Openingstijden

De multi is aleen te doen tijdens de openingstijden van de Horsten. De cache zelf kunt u ook buiten de openingstijden vinden.

Toegangskaartjes

Om door de Horsten te mogen wandelen moet u een kaartje kopen

Let op! Kaartjes kopen kan vanaf mei 2019 alleen nog maar online en niet meer ter plekke. U moet dus vooraf een kaartje kopen via deze website.

Let op! Wandelen mag alleen op de paden. U hoeft voor de foto's niet van de paden af.

Honden zijn in de Horsten niet toegestaan 

Het pad kan op sommige stukken drassig zijn, dus ik raad u aan om wandelschoenen of laarzen aan te doen

The cache

This multi-cache goes through the royal estate ‘de Horsten’ and is 5.5 kilometers (about 3.4 miles) long. De Horsten is not easily accessible by public transport, but it has a big parking lot. There is also a tea pavilion on the estate, where you can rest after waypoint 17. The pavilion is at coordinate N 52° 08.044 E 004° 24.395. After this, you can go back to waypoint 17 and continue to waypoint 18.

There are 21 waypoints below. Start at waypoint 1 and continue until waypoint 21. At every waypoint, choose the picture that was taken there. If picture F corresponds to waypoint 1, write down F=1 and if picture N corresponds to waypoint 2, write N=2, etc. At the end of the route, you can calculate the coordinate of the cache with this information. The pictures were taken at the beginning of March.

Opening hours

You can only do the multi-cache during the estate’s opening hours. The cache itself is hidden outside the estate, so it can also be found when de Horsten is closed.

Tickets

 If you want to visit de Horsten, you have to buy a ticket.

Please note: Since May 2019 you are no longer able buy tickets at the entrance and have to buy them online in advance via this website.

Please note: You can only walk on the paths. You don’t have to go off road to recognize the pictures.

Dogs are not allowed in de Horsten

The paths can be boggy in some places, so I recommend that you wear hiking boots or rubber boots.

The cache is locked by a number lock. At one side of the lock there's a stripe through the digits, that's the front. The 3-digit code can be found by calculating the sum below.
