I was born in North Carolina and attended Princeton University. During the Revolutionary War I served, with distinction, as a member of George Washington’s staff. After the Revolutionary War, I was a senator from North Carolina. In 1796 I was hand picked by our president, George Washington, to be the Indian Agent for all lands south of the Ohio River. From my Agency on the Flint River, where I maintained a large plantation and raised pigs, I became friends with the Creek Chiefs and took a Creek woman as a common-law wife. I mechanically churned milk by the barrel, which impressed the chiefs. My benevolence with the food I raised saved whole villages from time to time. In 1816 I died at the site known as the Old Agency. On my deathbed I married the Creek woman that I loved. Who am I ?
Part one: Travel to the cache coordinates. Sounds like a city in Tennessee, but Texas was on these men’s minds. Bet you did not know it was made in Georgia. On the marker you should find the answer to this question, “What year was the monument placed?” Subtract 1313 from the year. Use the answer to decode the coordinates for part two. Check out all the other monuments before you leave.

Part two: You found it! Good. This monument was erected in the year_ _ _ _. Use the year, minus 1607 to find part three. You must now head towards Texas, so watch for Indians.

Part four: Can you feel the presence of Indians? I guess they have been long gone. What day of the month did GA acquire the land? Use this number minus 16 to find part five.
