Come see the once thriving historic town of Waterloo Village being restored to it's former glory, as we make the 2016 Metro gathering a spooky Haunted Village Theme! Come get into the Halloween Spirit and walk among the jack-o-lanterns, Ghosts and Goblins, as the spooky deserted old village comes alive for All Hollows Eve!
There will be lots of spooky things roaming the haunted village, come in costume, carve a jack-o-lantern and perhaps find the resident ghosts!

Geocachers from across the United States and beyond are invited to attend the THIRD annual Metro Gathering Event. The first Metro Gathering event went mega in only a few weeks. Come and Gather in this Metro area with all the local Geocaching clubs from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the Mid Atlantic States.
We are very proud and excited to hold the 2016 Metro Gathering event at one of New Jersey's premier historic locations. We have partnered with the New Jersey division of Parks and Forestry and secured the beautiful Waterloo Village Historic Site, located in the scenic rolling hills of Northern New Jersey.
The Mansion ghost will greet all visitors!
Waterloo Village Historic Site is a wonderful location bringing history and the outdoors together. This 19th century restored canal town located in Byram Township, Sussex County, New Jersey contains a working mill complex with gristmills and sawmills, A church, a general store, blacksmith shop and many other historic buildings. Waterloo Village was also once a prosperous Morris canal town with a bustling port. Waterloo Village Historic Site is also home to the 400 year old Lenape (Delaware) Indian Village.
