Back in 1956, Mr and Mrs Ernie and Vi Mitchell and Mr and Mrs Tom and Mabel Lawrence started a childrens work and saw it grow in the Hesters Way area which was a new council estate just being developed and at that time many people from all over the country came to work in Cheltenham as GCHQ or the Foreign Office as it was called moved from London to Cheltenham. Also some others had an exercise about moving out of Regent Hall in Town to form a new assembly in this area and so in 1958 a new assembly was formed and met in the Scout Hut at St Marks Community Centre in Brooklyn Road.
This cache is located in a difficult area, and overlooked. Please use maximum stealth when retrieving and replacing.
