Geocache Description:

Judo practitioners from all over the world dream about visiting the Kodokan. It was founded by Jigoro Kano, the person who created judo in 1882. Anyone can practice here, regardless of whether they want to attend regularly, participate in one of the training camps or just visit for one day.

Even if you don't practice judo, you can still buy some souvenirs, visit the small museum and library to study the history of the sport free of charge (10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays) or watch the judo practices in the evenings (16:30 to 20:00 on weekdays, 16:30 to 19:30 on Saturdays) from the spectator seating on the 8th floor.

The cache can be accessed anytime, but if you want to enter the Kodokan building, please check the Web site before your visit to confirm the opening and practice times. (visit link)

Caution! There are lots of muggles as well as a police station nearby! Although the police officers cannot see the cache location, please avoid acting suspicious.
