In the ancient form of chess known as shatranj, the piece next to the king is the ferzan. The ferzan moves diagonally in any direction (like a bishop) but only one space (unlike a bishop, which can move any number of spaces).
A tour is a sequence of moves on a grid where a piece moves from its starting square to every other square, visiting each square on the grid only once. The grid below contains a message that can be read by following a tour beginning at the square marked START, then making alternating moves of a knight and a ferzan (the first move is a knight move). Once you have completed the “Tour”, take the last 10 squares you used, and copy the Letter/Number of these squares. Then sort those letters/numbers in alphabetical order. The sequence of numbers on the sorted letters should be the location of the final.
