A short Church Micro starting at St John's Church in St Michael's Grove, Fareham. You will need a pen or pencil to sign the log.
Please note that no special equipment was used to place the cache at night in February. No special equipment is required to retrieve the cache although wellies might be handy!
The present church building was built in the 1960s although the story of the church really began over 200 years ago in Portsmouth. The original church in Portsmouth was actually a circus building and equestrian centre which was destroyed in an air raid on the 12th of August 1940? The bell tower has a 10 metre base that is made from forced concrete faced with Gloucester and Purbeck stone. Mounted on the base is a 9 metre high spire clad in stainless steel. The four bells weigh between 76 and 140 kilograms.
To find this cache you will need to visit the published coordinates and answer a couple of questions:
1. What date was the stone laid? AB March CDEF
2. How many windows are visible to the right of the main doors? GH
