Autour du Bois de La Valla 4: L'ancien moulin et La Vella
Cette Cache est la quatrième d'une série de 8 caches, qui vous permettra de découvrir la belle campagne autour du Bois de La Valla, regarde sa flore et faune et en apprendre un peu plus sur les lieux. Cette une promenade d'environ 6 km. Vous pouvez trouver une carte du parcours ci-dessous.
Quand vous venez à ce petit pont et regardez au sud-est vous pouvez voir le ruisseau de Bessy faire lentement son chemin jusqu'à la rivière Arroux. Il n'y a pas très longtemps, des vestiges d'un moulin à huile du 17ème siècle ont été trouvés ici.
Lorsque vous vous retournez, vous avez une bonne vue de l'ancien moulin Chevalot du Bas.
Pour arriver ici vous avez passé le petit lieu dit La Vella. Pour continuez votre chemin, vous le passerez à nouveau.
La Vella est mentionnée pour la première fois en 1377. À l'époque, La Vella appartenait à la Paroisse de Bessy. Depuis 1790 il appartient à Uxeau. Dans son livre „ Mémento de Toponymie“, Norbert Guinot décrit le toponyme pour ce village. Cela pourrait signifier que ici se trouvait une ancienne villa romaine.
Carole Crumley, Archéologue et anthropologue, professeur des universités de Caroline du Nord, Etats-Unis et d'Uppsala en Suède, qui a pris un rôle majeur dans les fouilles du Mont Dardon, mentionne La Vella dans le livre „Regional Dynamics Burgundian Landscapes in Historical Perspective“. Elle pense avoir trouvé des preuves d'une villa romaine à cet endroit.

This Cache is the fourth in a series of eight caches, which allow you to discover the beautiful countryside around the Bois de La Valla, watching its flora and fauna and learn a little more about the place. It is a walk of about 6 km. You can find a course map below.
When you come to this little bridge and look southeast you can see the „Ruisseau de Bessy“, slowly making its way to the River Arroux. Not long ago, the remains of a 17th century oil mill were found here.
When you turn around, you have a good view to the old mill „Chevalot du Bas“.
To get here you came through the place called La Vella. To continue on your way, you will have to pass again.

Wenn Ihr zu dieser kleinen Brücke kommt und nach Südosten schaut, könnt Ihr den „Ruisseau de Bessy“ sehen, der langsam zum Fluss Arroux fliesst. Vor nicht langer Zeit wurden die Überreste einer Ölmühle aus dem 17. Jahrhundert hier gefunden.
