2016 MGS Summer Picnic
at
NORTH POINT
STATE PARK
on
Saturday, July 30th
10am to 4pm
Anyone who has an interest in geocaching is invited to come and join in the fun. You need not be a member of the MGS to attend – all are welcome! Whether you’ve found 10 caches or 10,000, this event is for you! New to the game? New to the area? Visiting from out of town? Please join us at the Trolley Station Pavilion in North Point State Park.

Our schedule for the day:
- 9am: Setup
- 10am: Grills fired up
- 10.30am–3pm: Silent Auction, caching, 50/50, eating, hanging out with others
- 3.15pm: Annual caching awards followed by door prizes and general announcements
(Be sure to visit the MGS site for more information.)
- 3.45pm: Group photo
The silent auction will continue throughout the day and will feature a range of popular items from geocoins to cache containers. A list of donated items up for auction can be found here.
Please bring your favorite potluck dish to share. Post a ‘Will Attend’ log if you are planning to come, and please mention what dish you plan to bring. A list of needed items can be found here. The event will be held rain or shine. We hope to see you there!
Please be aware there is a park entrance fee:
$4 per-vehicle for Maryland residents, and $6 per-vehicle for non-Maryland residents.
