This is a cache filled with lots of goodies for children ranging in age from 5 to 12 or so. There are some items for adults as well. It is about a 1.5 mile hike from the beginning of the Seven Island trail of the Ludington State Park. Those co-ordinates are: N 44 02.275 ; W 86 29.648. Bring water and bug spray, and just stay on the marked trail until you reach the old stone picnic hut. The cache is about 300' northwest of the hut. It's lying alongside a downed log, covered with log pieces and leaves. You could take a picnic and make an afternoon of it. I'm sure a rest for the little ones would be a good thing and the area is perfect for it. Good luck and have fun!
