2016 Leap Day Event - Kuala Lumpur Event Cache

In 2016, members of the Geocaching community from around the world will leap at the chance to fill a rare gap in their 'finds by found date' calendar. This year will boast the fourth occurrence of a leap year since Geocaching began in May 2000 and, therefore, only the fourth chance to find a geocache on the extra day granted to us by the Gregorian calendar - the illusive 29th of February.

Malaysian Geocachers and visitors will have the opportunity to gather at the world renown landmark of Malaysia - Petronas Twin Towers. The next leap year won't be until 2020, and everyone is invited and welcome at this event, so don't miss out!

Location: Starbucks located inside of Suria KLCC third floor of the Mall Lot 327 & K33B.

Time: 8pm - 10pm
Activities:
8:00PM - 8:30PM - Registration
8:30PM - 9:30PM - Getting to know each other & Group Photo
9:30PM - 10:00PM - Hunt for the special event cache

Please make sure to come early/on-time in order to avoid missing out on the activities. Kindly take note that we will leave the event location/coordinate to hunt for the special event cache at 9.30pm and everyone would leave after finding/logging the cache.

To commemorate the leap day event, 2016 Leap Day Cache has been created by Barnyard Dawg. This cache will only be available for the attendees of the leap day event and afterwards will be a premium member only cache.
