This cache is on a small island on a very remote stretch of the Churchill River system. It is only accessible by boat. Only those familar with the area or those looking for the ultimate challenge should consider this geocache.
The Legend III geocache is in a ammo box that was placed approximately 50' from the waters edge just on the other side of large rocks on the North point of a small island. The location is a great fishing or shore lunch spot.
You will need to acquire a map of the river system to reach this geocache. It is 26 miles by water from Slims Cabins. The geocache contains a hat, coffee mug, steel leaders, a Cayman dollar, and a Nebraskaland magazine.
The fishing and scenery is spectacular.
