This is my version of a classic hide that we have all have (except for the most new to our game) come across. I have not seen a cache hidden exactly this way, but I have seen similar. It is placed very near a nice business park pond and walking trail. The area apparently is part of the Charlotte Mecklenburg park park and rec system, given the sign tacked to a tree nearby.
Enjoy the walk in the park... It's "The Natural Plane To Be..." (the sign says so!)
The cache is large enough for small tradeables and trackables.
