The Murrumbidgee, but not as we know it! Well, not as most people know it, because they stick to the pleasant but well-worn tracks on the side closest to the city. Coming up here demands a further walk, but for those with an adventurous bent, I definitely reccomend it!
This cache is a way off the track, at a point that commands a view over the Murrumbidgee river in two directions. The cache itself is a fairly easy find, but watch out for brambles... and as ever, in the Ausralian wild, make sure not to step upon a snake!
If you're keen on a long walk, you can head up from point hut crossing and keep going on to another of my caches, at The Farther Bank. And if you're equipped with a bike suitable to rough terrain, you could do like I do and cycle it.
