We live in Rothesay, formerly the sevice district of Wells, formerly of the Parish of Saint John. Our address changed three times after we bought the house we still live in. In 1996, we were new to the Saint John area and househunting. One day we got completely lost, and found our secluded little house. Our problem was, we had no idea where we were, and it took two weeks for the real estate agent to figure out which house for sale we had seen. We knew what we wanted though, and have no regrets about moving to this quiet neighborhood.
Over the years much has changed. We amalgamated with the Town of Rothesay. Our area got police service, street lights, sidewalks, a soccer field and a tennis court! There are even day camp programs for children! No walking trails though - until now!
Come find this geocache and come and see our brand new trails! And our wells! This is very fitting, as our neighborhood was known as Wells. How many wells were in Wells before the Town of Rothesay came and dug these wells I do not know, but we surely live up to the name now! This geocache is hidden on a road created to allow the town access to dig series of wells in the area. I don't know why they needed to dig these wells, but out here in Wells we really appreciate the nice new trail! Hope you enjoy your visit!
