An easy-to-find cache on the William Berczy Trail, which is part of the urban trail system in Markham. The point of this one is to introduce fellow cachers to Old Unionville, a toney district of shops, pubs and restaurants which is just west of the cache site. That location is a simple walk from parking, but this is a busy spot and sometimes parking is the challenge. Since this is a well-travelled trail, take precautions.
The cache itself was a not very large, orange plastic container that I picked up in a camping store years ago and never had a use for (before geocaching); However, now the container is larger -- a Rubbermaid container with a clear lid with a blue edge. It contains a logbook, pen and pencil, standard Geocache notice. The original contents was Foreign Paper Money... but that all went pretty quickly so we are going to try coins... That's the THEME... Foreign Coins.
